Lombardini marine generators provide compact auxiliary power for sailing yachts, motor yachts, fishing boats, workboats and other vessels with limited installation space. The Lombardini LMG generator series combines marine diesel engines with practical onboard power configurations for lighting, refrigeration, battery charging, navigation systems, pumps, galley appliances and air-conditioning loads.
Available models cover different power requirements, beginning with the NEW Lombardini LMG4000 4kVA Marine Diesel Generator Package for smaller onboard loads. The NEW Lombardini LMG9000 10kVA Marine Diesel Generator Package provides 10 kVA or 8 kW for vessels requiring greater electrical capacity. Higher-output Lombardini diesel gensets, including the LMG14000 and LMG18000, are available for more demanding marine applications.
Correct marine generator sizing should account for continuous consumption, intermittent demand and the starting current required by air-conditioning compressors, refrigeration motors, pumps and other inductive loads. The selected model must also match the vessel’s required voltage, frequency and phase configuration. Cooling arrangements vary across the LMG range.
