The Phasor K3-9.5 kW Marine Generator uses a three-cylinder Kubota diesel engine and produces 9.5 kW at 60 Hz or 8 kW at 50 Hz. For larger commercial and luxury-vessel loads, the Phasor JD4-80.0 kW Marine Generator combines an 80 kW output with a John Deere diesel engine and three-phase electrical generation.
Smaller and medium-output models commonly use proven Kubota diesel engines, while higher-output marine Diesel generators use John Deere power. Depending on the model, standard features can include a direct-coupled brushless alternator, solid-state voltage regulation, freshwater heat-exchanger cooling, a cupro-nickel heat-exchanger core, gear-driven seawater pump and automatic shutdown protection.
