Nanni marine generators provide onboard electrical power for sailing yachts, motor yachts, catamarans, passenger boats, fishing vessels and commercial craft. The Nanni range includes compact yacht generators, single-phase and three-phase models, and higher-output commercial marine generators for vessels that must operate lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, battery chargers, pumps, navigation systems and galley appliances away from shore power.
The QMF, QMS and QLS ranges cover different power demands and operating profiles. The Nanni QMF 3.5M 3.5 kW Marine Generator is a compact 230V, 50 Hz, single-phase generator for smaller yachts and cruising boats. The Nanni QMS 13T 10.2 kW Marine Generator supplies 230–400V three-phase power at 50 Hz for larger leisure vessels and professional applications requiring greater motor-starting capacity.
Depending on the series, Nanni diesel generators are available with compact synchronous alternators, freshwater cooling, remote control panels and marine-aluminium sound enclosures. QMS models use Mecc Alte alternators, while the larger QLS range uses Leroy Somer alternators for pleasure and continuous-duty applications. An optional soundproof marine generator enclosure can reduce operating noise while retaining access to filters, electrical connections and routine service points.
Correct marine generator sizing must account for continuous consumption, intermittent loads and the starting current required by air-conditioning compressors, refrigeration motors and pumps. Buyers should confirm the required kW or kVA output, 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency, voltage and phase before ordering.
