Which marine engine and generator brands does MSS Motorsports supply?
We supply marine inboard diesel engines from manufacturers including Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Cummins, Caterpillar and MerCruiser. Our marine generator range includes Kohler, Cummins Onan, Fischer Panda, Northern Lights, Nanni, Mase, Paguro, Vetus and other recognised manufacturers. The required model and configuration are confirmed before shipment.
How do you determine the correct engine or generator specification?
Selection is not based on horsepower or kVA alone. For marine engines, we review vessel type, operating duty, rated RPM, installation dimensions, controls, and gearbox compatibility. For generators, we consider electrical load, starting demand, voltage, frequency, phase, cooling arrangement and available installation space.
What information should I provide for a repower or replacement?
Please provide the make, model, and serial number of the existing engine, generator, or gearbox, together with clear photographs of the nameplate and installation. Vessel type, current gearbox ratio, control system, required power, delivery destination and preferred completion date will also help us identify the appropriate replacement.
Can MSS Motorsports arrange international delivery?
We coordinate deliveries within the United States, Europe, and international markets. Depending on the destination and shipment size, delivery may be arranged by road, air, or sea freight. The agreed Incoterm, export packing, shipping documents, estimated transit time and freight charges are stated in the quotation.
What is confirmed before an order is accepted?
For products available for online purchase, the product page clearly displays the exact model, condition, rated output, included components, price, and current availability. Optional configurations, shipping charges, estimated dispatch time, warranty coverage and payment terms are disclosed before payment, with pricing and availability remaining consistent throughout checkout.
